South Beach's flare for the unique and creative has, once again, captured the eye of Miami society at The Maxine Restaurant at The Catalina Hotel & Beach Club. Comfortable and chic, the indoor and outdoor dining suites are prime real-estate for sipping an afternoon cocktail, people watching under the shade of the palm canopy, or enjoying South Beach's best Challah French Toast by the morning sun. Guests enjoy local treats for all occasions including South Florida favorites such as Seafood Linguini with native scallops and middle-neck clams tossed together in a refreshing white wine sauce. For the hearty appetite, Maxine's entices the palette with Sautéed Tilapia simmered with onions and capers in a rich marinara sauce.
Specializing in an all-inclusive dining experience, Maxine's invites guests to dress in their Sunday's best for a weekly afternoon out with
their four-legged friends. For a twenty
dollar prix fix, dog-lovers and their pooches alike enjoy one another's company
from 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. every Sunday, weather permitting, for an outdoor
feast of Eggs Benedict, delectable New York Bagel Platters, capped off with
your choice of a Mimosa or Bloody Mary.
Furry friends will be pampered with their own personal water bowl
alongside healthy snacks in the shape of Floridian Palm Trees and colorful
underwater creatures. Whether a weekly
activity or an impulsive afternoon out, families are welcome to come for as
long as they want with no reservation required.
The Maxine Restaurant at The Catalina also hosts a wide variety of special events with flavorful offerings served based upon occasion and style. For a minimum of twenty people, Maxine's serves continental breakfast as well as cocktail dinners ranging from $20-$25 per person. Handmade Italian favorites artistically crafted by Chef Vittorio are just a hint of what Maxine's has in store.
